One of the biggest attractions of Big Island (to us,
at least) is that it is a snorkeling paradise. There are a number of great
places to snorkel all around the world and even in other Hawaiian Islands. But,
we are yet to find one that is easier and safer than Kahulu'u Beach Park. You
could literally stand in 4feet of water, put your face in and watch a good
variety of colorful tropical fish and green turtles. They are accustomed to
humans by now so you can float in one place and watch them swim around.
Some of our condos are literally walking distance
from Kahulu'u Beach Park.
